The Opportunity

Our MENAI hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project & programme management, facilities management and cost consultancy services.

The role

The Facilities Manager accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities at the Exhibition Centre and operate the FM services as per the best industry practices and in compliance to the company standards.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Observe procedures as required by the Contract.
  • The Facilities Manager shall have the ultimate authority over all the work required in completing the requirements of the Contract.
  • Maintain full financials awareness and control.
  • Promote Safety First, No Compromise.
  • Introduce and promote sustainable solutions for the FM delivery.
  • Responsible for preparing the monthly progress report and other required reports.
  • Ensure the Facility is ready for exhibit / operations throughout the operating hours.
  • Overall Management of Service deliveries in the project.
  • Management of supply chain partners.
  • Collate and verify all asset information
  • Introduce and promote sustainable solutions for the FM delivery.
  • Client Focus (Deliver to the client what we promise).
  • Requirements :

    Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include :

  • Minimum 5 years’ facilities management experience at a senior level.
  • Significant business development experience in sales and / or marketing is essential.
  • Established network within facilities management industry.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Strong negotiation, convincing and influencing skills.
  • Ability to accept change and work flexibly.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Pragmatic approach and sense of humor.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Qualifications

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
  • 4 Years’ experience in managing exhibitions public centres or community spaces
  • 7 Years’ experience of Project Management
  • PMP / FMP Certified or a member of BIFM
