DohaAbout your JobAs OJT Training Supervisor you will be responsible in handling affairs necessary to deliver maintenance training, prepare and assigned maintenance Practical training courses.
You will provide guidance and counselling for the trainees when required. You will also maintain Practical instructor man-hour plan and submit required reports to the Line Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITIES : OperationalYou will : -Designs and prepares practical / OJT training materials and promoting and implementing training programs necessary to fulfil identified practical / OJT training needs.
Develop, maintain and update master practical training materials. Take corrective actions in case of finding a discrepancy or damage to the facilities / equipment / training aids.
Provide required technical guidance for instructors in development of practical training course. Assign practical / OJT / instructors in course development.
Review progress of practical / OJT training material and practical / OJT Training Records update processes.Allocate aircraft for practical / OJT Training field visits.
Supervise practical / OJT training records update.Generate and maintain practical / OJT training instructor man-hour utilization reports monthly and distribute reports to training managementKeep Line Manager updated on all issues related to the practical / OJT training operations and bring to the attention of the Line Manager of any incident involving disciplinary actions for students or Instructors.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.Keep the Line Manager updated on all issues related to the training operations.
Bring to the attention of the Line Manager of any incident involving disciplinary actions for students or Instructors.Liaise with Base / Line maintenance and / or workshops in organizing field visits.
Carrier development and update of Practical / OJT Maintenance Training Instructor Level II.Develop and promote positive working relationships with, and between, instructors, trainees, peers, and management.
Management & LeadershipYou will : -Direct the daily activities of, and work directly with, practical / OJT instructors while continuously developing and mentoring instructors using a continuous improvement mentality.
Provide service to, and enhance, the learning experience of new and current team members.Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Leading to the program’s continued growth and success.About youQualifications : EssentialDiploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Degree (B.
Eng., BSc) in Aeronautical Engineering plus hold ICAO / QCAA / EASA License +Plus holds at least 4 Aircraft Training Authorizations on aircraft fleet operated by the company.
Completed the Management training and assigned role specific technical courses.PreferredTraining Management Training.Previous Experience : EssentialExternal : Minimum of 14 years of job related experience+ management experienceInternal : Minimum 02 years' experience as an OJT Instructor in EN.
02Job Specific Skills : EssentialMust be assessed for leadership skills.Be fully conversant in English language compatible with aircraft maintenance training activity.
Practical and technical knowledge, about regulatory requirements for technical training (QCAR / EASA Part 145 / 147 / 66).
Excellent communication skills.Able to work with MS office applications.Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
PreferredCompetent in using the assessment criteria in order to coach. Competent in giving feedback and managing de-briefing sessions.
