DohaWork Locations : Hilton Salwa Beach & VillaSalwa Doha tbdGeneral Restaurant Manager is responsible t o promote the commercial and financial development of the establishment in order to successfully run the restaurant in a professional and dedicated manner of Hilton's newest resort and entertainment complex in Qatar.
The Salwa Beach Resort is to become one of the largest resorts in the Middle East. It spreads along a 3.5km pristine beach front on the southwest coast of Qatar.
Managed by Hilton, it will have 362 hotel rooms and residential units with private beaches, a world-class leisure and waterpark, sports club, marina, dive center, health club, spa, restaurants, cinemas and retail space.
The resort is scheduled to open in 2020 and can be found on Google and YouTube under its working title 'Salwa Beach Resort'.
What will I be doing? A General Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards : Recruitment, organization of the work force (task distribution and evaluation)Designate and determine the objectives and missions for every team memmbersConducting and planning employee formations and their participationConflict resolution and treating complaintsOversees dining room, lounge and kitchen food service activitiesSupervises employees in accordance with operating policies and standardsInteracts with guests, builds relationship and is responsible for high guest satisfactionDevelops, plans and ensures the implementation of service standards in the restaurantContinuously suggest new concepts and improves existing processes that will benefit employees’ role, revenue, cost and guest satisfactionDrives up-selling and suggestive selling opportunities and guest satisfactionPrepare competitor checkPerforms performance review for all the employeesPlans promotions to promote the restaurant and meets the guests’ expectationsFollows additional requests and tasks given by superiorGives direction, set objectives, embraces empowerment and keeps his subordinates accountable for their performanceWhat are we looking for?
