The Food Area Training Manager will also be involved in recruitment, the creation and update of training material, franchise partner support and Standard Operating Procedures.
The Training Manager will work closely with the Drinks Area Training Manager MENA and the Area Operations Manager MENA, and the wider EL&N H.
O team.The role is to provide operational Food training expertise and support to franchise partners within the MENA region facilitating related training and coaching to address targeted operational concernsBuild strong credible relationships with Franchise Partner’s, and their team by providing operational Food training expertise and responding quickly to operational food related needs by always following up with answers, information, and resources.
Within the role you have accountability for core parts on the EL&N Food business to develop in terms of training and food related operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSResponsibilities : Reporting to the Area Operations Manager - MENA, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following : · Supports all franchise partner stores within the MENA region and have access to the most current and accurate food training and operational food materials according to policy and procedure, making changes as directed· Ensure that all records of training are kept up to date, attendance, assessment results and evaluation scores as directed by EL&N H.
O· Conduct Food Training Needs Analysis within the MENA region and implement actions plans· Work with the wider training and operations team to ensure best practice, at all times, adapting food training materials and techniques as and when required· Supports needs of entire Food division, or company if needed, by participating in urgent problem- solving teams to help improve low performing franchise partners operational quality and profitability· Assist in the food development, delivery and roll out of new products, promotions, technology, operational programme and procedures.
uses the 3SPOS System, customer data, and other sources to gather and analyse qualitative data to identify and respond to operational Food issues such as product quality, service, image and hygiene standards· You will work with our Area Operations Manager to create on / offboarding processes including providing support on recruitment and selection strategies to franchise partners, managing induction, probation and performance managementTrain and develop all Kitchen Managers and BOH staff whilst continuing to coach them and their team to ensure food items are to EL&N specification and Standard.
preparing and serving our Food menu to the highest Spec and standard.Assist with all new Site openings within the MENA region.
This will include helping to recruit and train New teams, giving input into bar layout and operation along with advising on opening stock orders and set up of stock storage areas.
maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.To promote a positive attitude and team ethos, including lead by example’, for the department, setting the pace and standards and encouraging mutual respectTrain and support bar teams with Food stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation, and return of any sub-standard items across all sites.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.Work closely and collaborate with both head of Area operations and Head of food to develop the Food menu resulting in better margins and reputations for EL&N.
