  • Overseeing the day to day runnings of the busy children’s department.
  • Managing the children’s weekly schedules.
  • Managing the working schedule for the nannies.
  • Liaising with the children’s school teachers about curriculum content, upcoming school events etc.
  • Every afternoon, after school the role will include supplementing school content with extra-curricular activities to enhance the children’s learning.
  • Checking stock levels on all items concerning the children’s department and submitting purchase requests.
  • Liaising with the head chef (and nutritionist) about the children’s diet.
  • Organising and taking children out to do activities.
  • Being flexible that plans can suddenly change and having a back up or adapt quickly when given instructions.
  • Supervising medical records and appointments, contacting the family doctor when required.
  • Ensuring the nannies are keeping standards high by following the correct protocols .
  • Maintaining a highly professional manner at all times, dealing with both internal and external staff and personnel.
