Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the Marketing section’s functioning and performance2.
Work with the Director - Marketing & Sales to develop and finalize the annual plans and budget.
Provide inputs from sections’ perspective for feeding into the overall department strategy 3.
Provide inputs during the formulation or revision of the organization’s Marketing policies and procedures 4.
Develop the annual marketing strategy.
Work closely with the Director - Marketing & Sales and other senior department members while developing the annual marketing and communication plan, including inputs for the Philatelic products (stamp designs, campaigns etc.) 5.
Lead delivery of combined annual marketing plans and quarterly business reviews to enable further planning and influencing of marketing plans and business strategy 6.
Develop the brand and branding guidelines through working closely with the Director Marketing & Sales, leadership team of Qatar Post and own sections’ team members 7.
Ensure that branding guidelines are followed throughout all functions within Qatar Post.
Highlight and address any inconsistent branding related activities 8.
Work closely with the Leadership & Development team for managing and updating social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.

Liaise or manage relationships with external vendors / third party agencies in order to deliver integrated marketing campaigns within time and budget guidelines 10.
Liaise with external vendors / third party agencies for print media advertisements (external marketing) 11.
Gather market intelligence (local, GCC and international) with the help of team members and present useful information to the leadership team at Qatar Post 12.
Monitor the Qatar Post website administration with regards to content, layout, formats and usage 13.
Take a lead role in PR, client and prospect engagement, business development and brand awareness 14.
Keep abreast of latest marketing trends internationally as well as in the middle east and ensure that Qatar Post’s marketing efforts are in line with such trends 15.
Monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns’ effectiveness, success and return on investment periodically.
Accordingly, provide periodic feedback to the Director - Marketing & Sales 16.
Ensure that all marketing related activities are managed as per the approved marketing plan and within budgets.
Resolve all matters of deviation and escalate to the Director - Marketing & Sales, where required 17.
Provide approvals / sign offs (as per the delegation of authority) for the work executed by the team members on the basis of alignment with the approved policies and procedures, plan development and execution, leadership expectations and subject matter expertise 18.
Manage internal communication with Qatar Post employees through close liaison with Leadership & Development team and other departments at Qatar Post 19.
Prepare periodic reports for the Director - Marketing & Sales outlining current and planned department activities 20.
Conduct periodic and ad-hoc review of the sections’ functioning and report any issues or bottlenecks to the Director Leadership & Development 21.
Communicate with the team to ensure transparency and enable inclusive functioning of the section 22.
Coach and mentor all team members, especially direct reportees for performance and work closely with them during the various stages of performance cycle (goal setting, performance evaluations etc.) 23.
Ensure that all team members / direct reportees adhere to all Qatar Post’s policies and procedures 24.
Perform all other duties as delegated by the Director - Marketing & Sales, or as per business requirements Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Master’s degree or a professional certification in Marketing is highly desirable Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Marketing profile At least 3-
