SUMMARY :

  • Lead Infrastructure as a Service & Platform as a Service new Oracle offerings for Database, Java, Business Intelligence, Documents, Integration, in their Country
  • Active member of the EMEA Cloud Community and the Local Leadership Team
  • IaaS & PaaS Adoption Booster within their country through :
  • oMarket Readiness (Evangelisation)

    oSales Enablement

    oDeal Support (CA Approvals, Quoting, etc)

    oDrive Sales Strategy (Priorities, Market segments, Competition, Proposal, etc)

    oEngineer Large deals

    oContent Selection / Definition (sales plays, battlecards,..etc)

    oJustify Adoption (business cases, RoI, TCO analysis, etc)

    oDemand Generation ( Events, public conferences, Webcasts, eBlasts, outbound campaigns, eKits,..etc)

    oPartners and ISVs ( Enable, Recruit and Migrate Apps)

    oBuild References

    oCoordination with PM, EMEA Tech Services, Customer Success Reps , OD Cloud Presales etc

  • Influence and enable the right level of engagement (resources, skills, best practices, exec sponsorship) by the sales teams

  • Responsible for setting the organization strategy, and direction to deliver the Objectives
  • Drives flawless execution of IaaS & PaaS business plan using all the available sales channels : Field Sales, Oracle Direct and Partners
  • Exhibits personal credibility & effectively manages internal & external stakeholders, customers & networks
  • Maintains executive relationships in top accounts and with Partners

  • EXPERIENCE

    Proven experience on doing business on the Cloud

    Previous Sales Management experience preferred, but with some technical background

    Effective and visible leadership across different LoBs and BUs

    Strong organizational awareness and ability to maneuver across the different layers of the organization

    Successfully achieved demonstrable growth across multiple product lines

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Fluency in English
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

  • Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology / application to client business. Facilitation of customer product / application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks;
  • provision of support throughout the sell.

    As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.

    Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

    Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

    Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

    Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience.

    5 years relevant computer applications or database / tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system.

    Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills : needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.

    Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed.

    BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
