DohaAbout your JobIn this interesting role you will support the Manager Project Management Office in implementing the Corporate Service division projects.
The role involves project creation, problem solving, stakeholder assignment, follow-ups, tracking and project closure. The LPMO would be required to advise on deviations and escalate for any variations in time or cost.
Some of the job responsibilities will include : To coordinate and track the operation of the Project Management Office in implementing the divisions projects by assisting the Project Management Office Manager in delivering projects.
Work with the Project Management Office Manager to create a project plan and outline the stakeholders needed to complete each phase of the projects.
Analyse how each component of project plan contributes to the project to best manage / oversee it to completion.Identified areas of necessary improvement by monitoring activity of existing automation infrastructure.
Developed response strategies relevant to company operations, and stake-holder expectations.Assist in preparing project schedules and distributing those schedules to stakeholder.
Assist Manager PMO in establishing standards for conducting projects with CS division to drive efficiency through standardization.
Build relationships and maintain a good rapport with all stakeholders to gather and update information on project progress.
Perform all the tasks necessary to keep a project on time and on budget. Escalate deviations at appropriate time intervals to bring projects back on track.
Create / generate reports and provide updates to the Manager Project Management Office when required.Responsible for making sure that all project correspondence was properly distributed.
Network with employee training facilitator to coordinate improved communication of properly handling of projects and activities.
Network with agents in other departments to assess impact of proposed projects and to secure support during implementation phases.
Implement best practices to ensure that proposed projects complied with occupational health and workplace safety guidelines.
Assist Project Management Office Manager with data collection, project proposal development, conducting research, and deployment of incremental stages in project advancement.
Track projects to budget; each project has to be mapped to the Budget (CS or other cost centers).Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Keep abreast with any market trends and developmentsAssist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirementsEnsure that any personal data obtained and processed is treated in accordance with data protection principles followed by the Group, as well as applicable Group policies and Procedures on data protection and information security.
Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements and expectations in order to minimize health and safety risks for self and colleagues.
Contribute towards Qatar Airways Group Environmental Objectives and targets and the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System.
About YouQualifications : Minimum Bachelor's degree ( Engineering / business)Project Management (PMP) certification is a must.
Previous Experience : Minimum 5 years relevant experience of Project Management (PMO)Experience in Corporate real estate / FM management
