About the Role : As a Lead Cargo Services Agent you will be responsible to to coach, guide, monitor and organize various operational service duties related to cargo handling and processing at the warehouse facility with adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Supervise the shift to a level where all cargo will fly as booked’ or is efficiently and promptly ready for delivery’ in order to ensure safety and security.
Maintains at all time with on-time performance in Build-up / Breakdown within the cut off time set within various sections.
Preparation of flight allocation for team prior to published arrival time for imports and published cut off time for export as per revenue management load plan following agreed SOPs to ensure fit to fly’ status on all units.
Provides feedback on staff performance and productivity through the shift to supervisor.
Prioritize the breakdown process; build up process or delivery process of shipments that have Special loads / Priorities through critical monitoring in order to achieve the operational priorities for the Special loads and priority shipments.
Complete the flight build up; breakdown activities and delivery as per the agreed time using the current available resources to ensure the operational KPI is achieved.
Give guidance and on the job training to staff from Grade 1 to 3.
Supervise all units are built to a standard with no irregularities raised prior to flight departure in order to ensure that the Flown As Planned’ principle for all airlines are maintained.
Records irregularity codes and discrepancies and updates CROAMIS.
Responsible for comprehensive checks of all unit base prior to starting a build from checking all straps and nets and confirming actual vs system weight prior to release, via CROAMIS and ALTEA, to all documents checked and signed in order to ensure the quality standards and compliance with safety and security at all times in all operational areas are maintained.
Liaise with concerned authorities in order to allow final customs and delivery inspection within the agreed SLD standards for final delivery of shipments.
Facilitate proper handling of Imports as per handling instructions set by customers, Transit as per onward booking instructions and Exports shipments as per Revenue Management / Airline instructions in order to ensure the targets are met.

About you : An Ideal candidate will have :
High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education)
Experienced - minimum 4 years of job-related experience
Vocational / Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent (Type of DIploma Based on role)
Experienced - minimum 3 years of job-related experience
Command of English language
Dangerous Goods / Live Animals
Fundamentals of Load Control
Computer and systems literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
