Execute QA / QC initiatives and measuresacross assigned project(s) ensuring compliance to the QA / QCprocedures.
Assist in coordination and review of allQuality Assurance Plans and Control Procedures, documentation forsuccessful implementation of projects.
Report theProjects QA / QC status.
Represent and deputize QA / QCManager in attending internal and external Meetings, ifneeded.
Assist QA / QC Manager in ensuring theeffective implementation of the ASTAD’s requirements,systems, principles and objectives.
Support thedevelopment of projects specific QA / QC procedures, workinstructions and templates.
Assist project processowners and QA / QC Manager in establishing their delivery processesand procedures.
Assist project management team(s) andQA / QC Manager in defining its Quality resource requirements.
Collaborate in ensuring consistent implementation ofASTAD’s QA / QC requirements.
Help QA / QCManager in the close-out of quality risks in accordance with therisk management system.
Review, verify and endorseContractor and Consultant QA / QC Plans, Inspection and Test Plans,and other Project QA / QC Documents.
Ensure thatquality of contractor’s products, services andfacilities, are inspected and monitored.
Participatein performing assessment visits / audits to suppliers andsub-contractors.
Provide checks of theproject’s status of QA / QC implementation.
Collaborate for scheduling and coordinating internal and externalaudits.
Review Contractors and Consultants AuditReports and follow up for the implementation of the the correctiveand preventive actions.
Make recommendations tocorrect non-compliances and improve operating procedures.
Assist QA / QC Manager in providing feedback to the ProjectManager and QA / QC Manager, as needed, regarding QA / QC issues thatneed to be addressed.
Provide input and support thesubcontractor / supplier evaluation processes and monitorsubcontractor / supplier performance through continual improvementprocess.
Undertake, as necessary, awareness trainingin the project Quality Management System, procedures andapplications and ensure that all Operational staff is trained inaccordance with their duties.
Ensure that allnecessary quality records are identified and retained in accordancewith ASTAD’s requirements.
Provideperformance data as requested for reporting purposes.
Implement corrective, preventive and defect repair actions asdecided by Sr. QA / QC Engineer & Project Manager in case ofvariations.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuousimprovement of systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practice’, improvementof business processes, cost reduction and productivityimprovement.
