Function extends its support for sales and marketing department to promote, sell and recommend products and services.Purpose : The purpose of this role is to ensure that Starlink is getting the right products and services into its range.
The role holder shall ensure all point of sales is getting the new / existing products on time so that Marketing and Sales Department could promote it accordingly.
Key Task : Responsible for managing an end-to-end process of a specific brands / categories provided by the Department Head.
Ensure profitability and continued growth of a products / devices; monitor the level of sales and inventory as well as the cycle of each lines.
Liaising and negotiating with OEM and third party suppliersCoordinate with Buyer to ensure RFQ, PRQ & LPO process has been processed in timely manner.
Assisting in the relationship management of key Supply Chain clients.Ensuring no stocks out’ alwaysKeeping track & monitoring of RFQ / RFP received from each dept.
provide regular updates for visibility.Effective monitoring of slow moving product lines.Business ImpactSupport all point of sales & marketing department achieving their target thru fulfilment of appropriate products and supply on a timely manner.

Problem SolvingEnsuring order is raise on time and against accurate products sell-through.Maintain accurate inventory levelIntroduce new product lines subject for approval of Sales and Product DepartmentReport any issues that could affect the day-to-day operation.
Planning & Organizing : Work closely with the team manager to ensure a proper management of range is being allocated in the shops, stocks ordered based on accurate requirements and price is negotiated accordingly.
Continuous support to relevant departments / sections to achieve their target by providing them the right products and accurate inventory level.
Continuous high-quality work performance by following the standard working procedures.Ensuring KPI’s are met.Decision MakingRequires team to support related departments ensuring the success and completion of activities of the business at any given time.
Working closely with the Department Head to ensure a positive and accurate output will be given to the relevant departments / sections.
Communicating, negotiating & influencing : Involves in negotiating supplier’s offer for a specific brand ensuring supply of linesMaintain communication and coordination with marketing and sales department on the status related to inventory, sales and orders of the assigned products.
Coordination with the warehouse related to stocks and deliveries.Decision Making : Capable of decision making through logical investigation and analysis.
The role holder usually recommends any critical actions direct to the department head.
