  • Purpose

  • To develop a Treasury vision and strategy that clearly defines QICC’s objectives around banking, cash and liquidity management.
  • To integrate the Treasury strategy within the overall strategy of the organization by being consistent with the strategic direction of the organization, maximize centralization of Treasury to realize benefits such as improved borrowing / investment decisions;
  • better working capital management; improved banking relationships; control improvement; reduced risk of errors, omissions or fraud;
  • and potential workflow efficiencies.

    Areas of responsibility

  • Finalizes monthly financial statements in IFRS guideline
  • In-charge of General Ledger Management and Reconciliation of Ledgers / Sub ledgers
  • In-charge of Balance reco, planning and estimations in connection with Cash and Bank and Customer transactions
  • Working Capital Management in actual and planning
  • Manages the budgeting process and generating actual vs budget deviations
  • Reports to CFO and works on KPIs with Analysis of business performance
  • Responsible for Letters of Credit, guarantees and bonds execution
  • Controls receivables / payables and customers / supplier management including to Credit Control, aging analyisis, follow up, clearing and reco.
  • Implements the necessary internal controls in order to safeguard company assets through cost control and cost reduction
  • Providing data in format & Analysis on historial data and data prognoses as per it for Management
  • Providing Expense details and Analysis per books and controls
  • Cash Management

  • Participate in / managing a variety of projects Cash Management which helps in developing new banking and policies and procedures to maximize the associated control accounts, assist in determining the structure of a new banking subsidiary or optimize existing.
  • Participate in / managing a variety of Treasury and Capital Markets projects. that assist in developing and monitoring risk management strategies and policies for foreign exchange rate and commodity exposures.
  • Responsible to the cash portion

  • Monitor the accuracy of the procedure manual. Identify enhancements to the procedures and ways to improve efficiency.
  • Making decisions about lending and investment options based on the calculation of CMIS and other information received to the department concerning unusual transactions or planned strategies.
  • This decision involves a very large amount of money and a long time. Make an independent assessment of the loan or investment / redemption amount based on time of day, vs.

    the expected completion of the transaction, and loan or investment option deadline. Running short-term investments and loans and communicate this to the bank / financial service providers and ensure that money moves directionally and transactions done correctly.

  • Analyze loan / investment options are limited by the guidelines established.
  • Resolve any issues relating to banking and accounting with daily cash management.

  • 5 years Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working experience with IFRS
  • Education

  • Professional Qualification CA / ICWA / CPA / CIMA
