Purpose : To develop and direct implementation of total rewards programs (compensation, benefits, allowances and performance management) that provide a competitive level of pay, motivation, and reward to employees Job Summary : The incumbent will be responsible for supervising the different sub-divisions and activities such as salary planning and pay increase administration, salary structure management and compensation-related communications.

Key Responsibilities : Formulation Total Rewards Strategy Develop / design Total Rewards strategy by liaising with various levels of management to establish areas of concern which may be addressed using Total Rewards techniques and providing industry practices / market trends to facilitate business planning.

Organize the salary planning process. Administer all aspects of Total Rewards planning such as merit increases program, discretionary bonus.

Job evaluation Supervise the evaluation and pricing jobs for placement in salary structures. Determine Competitive Salary Package Approve salary analysis recommendations for career promotions or salary increases within a salary grade as required or requested.

Monitor salary structure and benefits at all times and developing competitive benefit packages. Total Rewards Policies & Guidelines Ensure that compensation and benefits of employees are aligned with the market.

  • Develop, implement and monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, non-executive bonus plans, guidelines and procedures and job grading;
  • recommends plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost-effective and consistent with Total Rewards trends and business objectives.

    Build and implement effective Total Rewards policies and programs. Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

    Market Trends and Reports Keep current with latest laws and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.

    Stay abreast of current and changing trends and leading practices in total rewards, organization development and performance management.

    Review reports related to Total Rewards and provide regular update reports to HR Director. Other Tasks Job descriptions are written to reflect major accountabilities and will not describe all the tasks which may be performed by an individual.

    The incumbent shall perform any additional related duties assigned by the respective line manager to meet operational requirements.
