for global elevator and escalator brands

in Qatar.

Our client is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead their growing company.

  • Review Monitor and make sure that all departments are running with optimum efficiency with least expenses. Make sure that all statutory and Governmental Licenses, Company Insurances AND / OR any other requirements for the Company to function as a legally approved entity for the prescribed activities undertaken by the Company, in the State of Qatar, are in place and maintained promptly.
  • Make sure that Accounts Department activities related to relevant Receivables and payables of each department are done in an orderly, timely manner in accordance with the relevant Contracts signed with various parties.
  • Make sure that all reports pertaining to P & L, Variance, Budget, etc. are prepared and submitted on time. Monitor Cash flow and strictly follow up and collect receivables on time.

  • Guide, manage and personally involved in the sales activities of the products dealt by the Company to meet the Target set by the Management.
  • Prepare and submit Traffic Study as and when required. Conduct seminars and Presentations to Clients and Consultants. Consistently work on Improving Customer Satisfaction.

  • Contract negotiation and reviewing tenders to make sure
  • that offer is in full compliance.

    Monitor and make sure that all Contract requirements between Supplier and PIEC are met by both parties in all transactions.

  • Coordinate and communicate with the technical team to make sure that all operations, including Installation & Maintenance of Home Brands and Third-Party Brands, are done in accordance with the best possible standards and employ zero tolerance to compromised Quality, Safety and Service.
  • Responsible for resolving Client’s Complaints swiftly and effectively. Should be able to interpret, substantiate and resolve contractual disputes based on International Standards, Specifications, approvals, and applicable codes.
  • Requirements

  • Proven track record of success : 10+ years’ Gulf experience in Vertical Transportation, especially Elevator Technology / Conveying System / Engineering.
  • Ability to manage large team of high profile Conveying Systems professionals and international elevator manufacturers.
  • Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or relevant industry experience.
  • Finance management experience with P&L statements, budget preparation, and strategic capital planning.
  • Experience leading and managing sales force, maintenance engineers, and operations personnel.
  • Experience with Contract negotiations and tenders
