VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for IT Security Associate for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following terms and conditions.
Accountable and Responsibility for Network and Security Infrastructure related activities such as installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of the Network and Security components servers and other related application such as Security application, Networking application and hardware.
Ensure maximum security, operational continuity and contingency controls for the all the components to ensure that the network & security performance meets business and user needs.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineProfessional certification such as CEH, CISSP, CISM and ITIL preferredEXPERIENCE2+ years of relevant experience handling network & security set ups and modificationsStrong knowledge in Security domain and skills such as PEN Test will add more valueStrong English and, added value if Arabic language skillsExperience in network and security products like Cisco, Juniper, F5, APT is required.

up, configure, and maintain network, communication and Security components Software’s related and equipment according to the overall objectives of the BankProperly administer the overall network & security architecture to ensure bank safety, security and availability of the network & security infrastructureControl network devices / components and coordinate network access and useDetermine the design requirements for the bank Network and Security Topology.
Monitor network equipment for outages, traffic problems and service levels, and provide problem resolution when neededBack-
up network and communication software, hardware, components configuration files and logs on a regular basis, according to the Bank’s Information Technology policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Design Firewall and Intrusion Protection security into the Data Center environmentAnalyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair, replacement or enhancementFor all developments, upgrades and enhancements produce high quality documentation / business case, setting out design approach, a project plan and resource requirements to meet project timelinesMaintain equipment or coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high availability and service levelsPerform routine network component startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control recordsMaintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair recordsMaintain current documentation including logical and physical network designs and layout diagramsMaintain inventories of network devices / components, network software, communication softwareIdentify utilization patterns and their effect on operations and system availability and performance expectationsSeek to identify solutions to all existing network and system problemsGather data pertaining to user needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirementsEnsure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive informationProvide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the Compliance function as and when required.
