Self-evaluate and review teaching methods,materials and schemes of work and make changes asappropriate.
Commit toin-service training (INSET) and continuing professional development(CPD).
Maintain awell-managed classroom with a good work ethos.
Assess students’ workeffectively in a timely fashion and provide appropriatecomments.
Maintain anup-to-date knowledge of the areas of the curriculum youteach.
Maintain recordsand write reports on pupils’ progress anddevelopment
Discussprogress with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Provide cover for absentcolleagues if necessary.
Attend year meetings, staff meetings, parents’evenings and whole school events.
To make an active contribution to the school’senrichment program and inter house events’program.
As a formteacher undertake pastoral duties as required and to be responsiblefor the social and emotional development of the children in thatform.
Provideopportunities to foster the spiritual, moral, social and culturaldevelopment of all students.
To undertake supervisory duties in line with publishedrotas.
