The Administrative Coordinator is responsibletoprovideadministrativesupport to the Vice President / Dean and to serveastheprimary contactfor the VP’s / Dean’s office.
Duties & Responsibilities1. Serve as the primary contact fortheVP’s / Dean’soffice and liaise with other offices,internallyorexternally, asappropriate.
2. Handle and maintainthedepartmentschedule andagenda.3. Schedule and arrangemeeting,appointmentsand otherresponsibilities that may arise on theagenda.
4.Establish andmaintain a filling system with departmentalrecordsanddatabases.5.Accept, screen, and route telephone calls andmaintainlogof inquiriesas required.
6. Draft or prepare responsestoroutineinquiries andcorrespondences. 7. Sort, screen,anddistributeincoming andoutgoing mail.
8. Greet and direct visitorsasandwhenappropriate.9. Assists in thecoordination,supervision,andcompletion of special projects asappropriate.
10.Coordinateandensure day-to-day availability of suppliesand equipmentfor theoffice.11. Provide logistical support to employeesin terms offlightsandhotel bookings and arrangements for businessortrainingpurposes.
12.Ensure confidentiality of information atalltimes.Performother tasksand duties that may be occasionally requiredinorder to meettherequirements of the role and the aims of the University.
Bachelor’s degree from a reputableuniversityinBusinessAdministration, Public Administration or related field.
