As a Head of Sales & Marketing, DBAC you will be reporting to Head of Insurance and providing assistance in attaining the company’s business plan objectives.
Key roles and responsibilities include :
Develop & implement strategic marketing & sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products & services.
Develop & manage sales / marketing operating budgets.
Enhance the effectiveness of existing distribution channels & develop untapped ones.
Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives fall within designated budgets.
Lead convergence efforts with the Group in respect of maximizing insurance products per customer (PPC) penetration & key stakeholder / partner relationships.
Determine product positioning, packaging & pricing strategy with key stakeholders, to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Oversee & evaluates market research & adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market & competitive conditions.
Guide preparation of marketing activity reports & present to executive management.
Establish & maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials & event.
Direct sales forecasting activities & set performance goals accordingly.
Direct staffing, training & performance evaluations to develop & control sales and marketing programs.
Manages & directs staff including recruitment, selection & development to achieve Company goals & objectives.
Three direct reports : a.Head of Corporate Sales & Marketingb.Head of Retail Sales & Marketingc.Head of Direct Sales & Marketing & Advertising
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of 10 years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities Strong customer service orientation.
Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques & financial principles experience.
Strong ability to effectively communicate orally & in writing with co-management, internal and external customers (English essential, additional Arabic an advantage).
Demonstrated ability in market analysis, campaign management, product positioning & distribution channel management.
In-depth experience of the marketing of insurance products, especially to bank customers.
GCC experience preferred.
