Standards and Accreditation Lead
Would you like to be responsible for day to day leadership of the Standards and Accreditation cell within the TI? We currently have a vacancy for a Standards and Accreditation Lead based in Qatar.
As a Standards and Accreditation Lead you will manage a team of five Standards and Accreditation Cell staff, who will develop, deploy and assure the customer and the business that the TI has, and is working to a high standard suite of policies, procedures and a robust evaluation and assessment strategy.
This role will give you the opportunity to be instrumental in the set-up of the Centre making sure you meet the standards for both internal and external awarding body assessment and verification requirement
This role will transfer and be directly employed through BAE Systems Strategic Air Services, a Qatar Joint Venture company
Your main responsibilities as a Standards and Accreditation Lead will involve :
Leading the team of Standards and Accreditation Cell staff ensuring their activities are properly planned and carried out in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures.
In this respect the post holder will carry out personal development planning and set and review robust objectives for their staff
Developing the maintenance of the Quality Management System, maintain and ensure an Assessment Strategy is in place and assure that contractual and company quality conditions are achieved.
Supporting the Standards and Accreditation Manager in the programme of external centre approval for both English language and technical programmes
Developing a robust assessment and accreditation system; planning a schedule for the delivery of formal examinations, formal assessments and less formal assignments to meet the demands of the TI delivery programme.
Conduct Quality Assurance and In Process assessment surveillance activities and audits in accordance with standards and policies, including compliance with ISO 9001 and Awarding Body regulations.
Contribute to the management of non-conformances raised, capturing on a robust plan and working with clients to close out, as agreed.
Leading the development and subsequent management of a robust teacher competence assurance and observation process, assuring the business and customer that all teaching staff are competent and current to teach.
Supporting the delivery of examinations carried out in the TI by external providers (such as City and Guilds).
Supporting Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and development of Customer Satisfaction metrics.
Your skills and qualifications as a Standards and Accreditation Lead :
Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & learning (or equivalent) including 90 hours of teaching practice
Internal Quality Assurance qualification
Extensive Training management experience
TAQA Qualified (or equivalent)
Military Technical Training experience
Internal Audit qualification
