Provides oversight of the Pipelines team as well as EPCcontractor’s, and, as required, Vendor’s and / orEngineering Subcontractor’s production of associateddeliverables within project budget and schedule.
Key JobAccountabilities 1. Provides Pipelines engineering expertise whilesupervising Pipelines team. 2. Maintains close liaison withEngineering Manager and PMT counterparts and gains alignment onPipelines engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
3. Ownsthe preparation and stewardship of Pipelines scope of work incontract and drives design alternative studies, as required, tooptimize project cost and schedule.
4. Responsible for maintainingtechnical alignment with Operations. 5. Provides Pipelinesengineering data (narrative, charts, graphs, etc.
for the monthlyprogress reporting and stewardship. 6. Ensures quality assuranceand production timing of the Pipelines engineering deliverables isin accordance with the approved project execution schedule.
7.Manages the timely delivery of technical attachments and scopedescription to all Pipelines-related purchase orders and owns thePipelines-related technical attachments and scope description toall fabrication and construction contracts.
8. Manages Pipelinesengineering design in accordance with the project's changemanagement program. 9. Responsible for being knowledgeable oflessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor andcapturing and communicating Pipelines engineering and designlessons learned for the current project.
