The Assistant Category Manager will directly reporting to the Category Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in business, or accounting is a plus, but not a must.
Fluency in English
Must have 3-5 years FMCG experience. Prefer in a distributor set up.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Ensuring timely placing and receiving of orders through liaising externally with suppliers and internally with supply chain.
Planning the company demand in line with the sales forecast and the desired stock level.
Constantly following-up with suppliers to ensure punctuality in shipping the orders and the documents in addition to keeping the sales, category, warehouse and supply chain team posted.
Liaising with supply chain to ensure that the ordered products and the documents fully comply with the applicable regulations, especially when dealing with new suppliers, importing new brands, or purchasing the goods from new sources.
Interfacing with finance to ensure making prompt payment on time after aligning with the category manager.
Providing the required reports to the management.
