The candidatewill be expected to teach graduate courses at MA and PhD level,applying a range of methodologies for teaching and assessment,contribute to all levels of curriculum development in the area(s)of specialty including the development of the interdisciplinary PhDin Humanities and Social Sciences.
The candidate will supervise MAand PhD students, will be committed to research-based teaching andlearning and the integration of professional practice intoclassroom activities, encouraging students to analyze and reflecton Research, Tools and Methods in Intercultural Communication or onIntercultural Communication in Organizations and in the Community,Communication in Intercultural Settings and on Discourse Analysis,with a specific focus on new research and professional trends inthese areas.
The candidate is expected to maintain an activeresearch agenda and participate in departmental and college-wideinitiatives.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic,experienced, and internationally recognized scholar with a strongrecord of research output and funding / grant acquisition and will beexpected to contribute to a wide range of leadership tasks at astrategic level.
The candidate needs to be fluent in English, andpreferably a language or languages of the region.
