Leads the monitoring and oversight of the EPC-2 LNG Tank ContractorTeam field planning, coordination and execution activities within designated areaof responsibility.
Appraises the performance of the EPC-2 LNG Tank Contractor Team insafety, quality, cost (as applicable) and schedule.
Evaluates field change proposals by the EPC-2 LNG Tank Contractor Team tomanage the NFE Onshore Project’s management of change process.
Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports tothe NFE Onshore Project Head of LNG Tank Construction and updates S-curveperformance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress.
Ensures that the EPC-2 LNG Tank Contractor Team develops, implementsand sustains its Safety and Quality program at site.
Assist theEPC-2 Contractor in the coordination of activities between subcontractors and SIMOPSwith OPCO.
Key Job Accountabilities
Provides safety leadership by example to the NFEOnshore Project Team and the EPC-2 LNG Tank Contractor Team, itssub-contractors and site vendors
As delegated by the Construction Head LNG Tanks, the incumbent isresponsible for the implementation of the NFE Onshore Project Site Safetyprogram which includes the SHES Activity Schedule.
Responsible for ensuring the EPC-2 LNG TankContractor Team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilitiesfor SHES project deliverables
NFE Onshore Project EPC-2 Team Constructionrepresentative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the LNG TankContractor Team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
Reports on the construction activities, progress,areas of concern and mitigating actions. Leads appropriate weekly constructiondiscipline review meetings.
Prepares for and participates in weeklyconstruction review meetings.
Responsible for implementation of executionactivities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) ofappropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution.
This includes authorization of RLIC permits.
Provides accurate, timely and routine reports tothe Head LNG Tank Construction on project planning and execution activities
Reviews and approves the LNG Tank Contractor Teamconstruction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and methodstatements to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area ofresponsibility.
Leads incident investigations with support fromthe SHES organization.
Ensures LNG Tank Contractor Team constructionactivities are completed in accordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures,regulations, specifications, standards, and permit to work procedures asapplicable, including relevant RLIC procedures.
Daily sanctioning of permits and monitoring of work areas.
Coordinate and correspond with other parties andasset owners in RLIC corridors and crossing areas where required.
Participates in the review ofsubcontracts and ensures that adequate control and changes in work proceduresare established.
Reviews and approves construction fieldchanges and extra work requests as delegated by the Head LNG Tank Construction.
Supervises and manages NFE OnshoreProject Team direct report project personnel.
Assists NFE Onshore Project Construction HeadLNG Tank in executing his responsibilities and acts in his behalf during hisabsence.
Demonstrates ability to plan and schedule work(short term and long term) and ensures execution of work plan by subordinates(as applicable).
Monitors and ensures the correction of non-conformancereport items and other issues supporting QA / QC compliance.
Monitors site material handling, prefabricationand warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitateconstruction progress.
Bachelor or Associates degree inEngineering or Science
Recognized degree in engineering orconstruction management, and or prior work experience or apprenticeship leadingto a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above
Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in projectexecution and LNG tank construction.
Experience in major Construction Projects(including brown-field work) with total capital expenditure >
