The overall purpose of this position is to provide oversight of the off post housing facilities and provide support to all members of the military community living off post.

This position is responsible for keeping an accurate filing system of all military personnel hand receipts, maintain excellent communication with the commound managers, respond to any maintenance issues of the tenant, maintain an accurate roster of off post tenants, and work with the embassy and compounds regarding lease renewals and terminations.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES : Please list by order of priority and, if possible, provide the percentage of time spent on the activity all should equal 100%.

  • Maintain off-post database and master list of all tenants.
  • Coordinates unit requirements for all off-post government leased quarters.
  • Performs an annual inventory of all government leased furniture and appliances in all leased villas.
  • In and out process all DOD / DAC assigned personnel to CAS residing in government leased housing.
  • Performs administrative duties associated with leased quarter’s utility bills, lease renewals, quarter’s inventory & condition reports,generatesPR&C, and DD250’s for payment.
  • Coordinates the issuing, pickup, and delivery of furnishings, linen, and household supplies for off-post government leased quarters.
  • Maintains a close and in-depth working relationship with compound managers, U.S. embassy personnel, resource management, and finance in the processing of annual lease renewals.
  • Work with compound managers / maintenance to maintain quarters, upgrade facilities, and schedule routine preventive maintenance on all leased housing.
  • Maintains key control, villa hand receipts, and occupants / tenant orders on all assigned personnel.
  • Maintains a current tenant telephone roster
  • Maintains a database for payments of each house for all units for RM MIPR information.
  • Performing daily reports and updating billeting records for the off-post database.
  • Maintains locator system for off post housing.
  • Responsible for submitting any maintenance work orders for off-post.
  • Coordinate to warehouseman in identifying, inventorying, storing and maintaining all government property, furnishings, and assets utilized on / off post.
  • Coordinates with Housing Manger for inbound military personnel
  • Arrange delivery and collection of villa furniture with warehouse man and driver
  • Collects and figures monthly utility bills
  • Figures monthly lease renewals and terminations
  • In processes and out processes tenants from their villa
  • Maintains all appointments, files, tenant roster, paperwork, and yearly inventory
  • Execellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to react to change productively and handle of essential tasks as assigned
  • Report and co-ordinates directly with the Housing Supervisor

    This position works both indoors and outdoors and should expect to work in conditions of extreme heat and extreme dust (i.

    e. - dust storms, humidity, etc). Normal work week is 48 hours (6 days a week, 8 hours a day). Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.

    Must be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.This position requires flexibility in work hours.


    Prolonged standing in above described environments is often necessary. Incumbents should be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs.

    Work environment is often fast paced and at times requires exposure to high heat and humidity.

    Frequent off post driving.


    Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

    College degreed preferred / High School diploma required.Driver’s License.


    Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of English comprehension, including speaking, understanding, reading, writing, and typing.

    Must be capable to supervisepersonnel. Must be detailed oriented and organized. Must have computer system administrative experience, should be have experience in procedural development as well.

    Must have at least 1 year of housing experience.

    SKILLS :

    Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ) Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with army personnel as well as fellow co-

    workers. Problem Solving abilities are required to ensure that in case of a supervisor being unavailable they can handle a situation on their own (e.

    g. run out of linen or space). Computer skills capable of using Microsoft Office software.
