Plan, coordinate, expedite and monitorthe Lesson Learned and Risk Management activities of Company and Contractors toensure that Company’s objectives are implemented and met with regards to cost,schedule and quality.
The position provides guidance, coordination and subjectmatter expertise to project functions to ensure the implementation of the LessonsLearned and Risk processes for EPC 1, EPC 2, EPC-3, and EPC-4 contracts within thePMT of the NFXP Onshore Project.
Key Job Accountabilities
Interface and take guidance from RiskManagement Head / Business Management team.
Implements and stewards the RiskManagement System, procedures and guidelines for NFXP Onshore Project andensures consistency in the application.
Works with key project leaders,engineering leads, functional leads, embedded operations resources, EPC Contractors / Sub-Contractors / Vendor teams and other users or stakeholders to train,communicate and coach in appropriate use of risk procedures and tools.
Verify Contractor’s performance to ensuretheir compliance with Company’s requirements for Risk Management Plans.
Educates risk owners on Risk Managementbest practices and may be required to work with other risk functions in thedevelopment and implementation of risk controls.
Identifies key issues, risks anddecisions that have created changes or risks that may impact the project(negatively or positively).
Coaches PMT teams on Risk Management methodologyand to ensure it is implemented consistently.
Ensures that risks are being identified,assessed and confirm that all existing risks have been correctly identified andentered into the deployed Risk Management System through regular meetings andassement of processes within each EPC Project Team.
Conducts periodic risk register reviews,and proposes risks for evaluations to the Project Leadership Team (PLT)
Ensures that response action plans aredeveloped and entered into the deployed Risk Management System.
Facilitates, as relevant, risk workshopsand ensure proper interface with contractors on risk related issues.
Keep up to date with Risk Managementtrends and techniques.
Responsible for Implementing the CompanyLessons Learned Process and ensuring a robust Lessons Learned and Risk Managementprocesses are in place.
Review Lessons Learned reports anddisseminate relevant learnings to the project team.
Attend Lessons Learned meetings andmaintain good communication with Contractors to highlight to managementpotential concerns and delays.
Bachelor's Degree, diploma orcertification and experience in a similar role.
Qualification / certification in RiskManagement (eg. Institute of Risk Management).
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil andGas with at least 5 years demonstrated Risk Management experience in majorcapital projects
Experience with EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractorsand Vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
Demonstrated ability and sensitivity towork with people from variety of cultural backgrounds
Worldwide experience with contractors inparticular those involved in the PMS and risk management activities for OnshoreLNG facilities
