About the role
We are hiring for your skills to administer, participate and monitor all scheduled, ad hoc projects and activities related to Strategic Workforce Planning for the entire Qatar Airways group, within the scope of work as agreed by the Line Manager.
Provide assistance to line managers and HR Business Partners in the implementation and reporting of projects and activities and undertake project management of deliverables as it pertains to Strategic Workforce Planning.
Other operational duties would include :
Provide advisory support to the business, on the creation of roster planning proposals and recommend solutions for optimum staff coverage.
Evaluation of unbudgeted and additional headcount justification, through the use of the Strategic Workforce Planning tools and templates as well as various HR metrics and predictive trends identified in the Strategic Workforce planning dashboard, in order to support business stakeholder’s decisions.
Support business units by advising on the process and tools for the annual Strategic Workforce Planning budget preparation and provide manpower utilization efficiency reports and analytics, in order to achieve financial and strategic business objectives.
Participate in Strategic Workforce Planning by gathering, analyzing and integrating data, in order to effectively meet long and short-term staffing requirements.
Provide advice and guidance, as part of the center of excellence, for any Strategic Workforce planning matter in order to support the business operational requirements.
Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering international leading practices’, in order to increase operational effectiveness.
Research of market leading innovation related to Strategic Workforce Planning as decided by the Line Manager in order to improve business processes and practices.
Prepare flowcharts / process flows for the Strategic Workforce Planning function and ensure that processes are aligned with overall departmental strategy and organizational structures.
Provide support to Organization Design team by reviewing and advising on organizational structures and headcount budget reviews.
Share insights on any organizational structure changes and prepare summary impacts of these changes.
Ensure the highest standards are followed to safeguard the sensitive and confidential data in terms of HR reporting on various business areas across the organization.
Assist the team in the implementation of identified projects when defined by the line manager, by undertaking project management activities including the monitoring and reporting on status and identified risks and ensuring that all administration of projects are maintained and completed on time.
Will act as the focal point between HR, OD as well as other stakeholder departments by coordinating, communicating and streamlining project relevant data and information within the team and other departments.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the HR - Remuneration & Organization Design Team with below qualifications and skills :
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business or Human Resources) or equivalent.
Completed courses in strategic workforce planning or any related HR manpower planning.
Has related experience of not less than 5 years in Human Resources functions.
Relevant experience in an airline industry and / or consulting environment.
Certificate in project management and lean six sigma.
Ability to perform manpower productivity measurement and analysis.
Knowledgeable in roster planning and optimization of staff coverage.
Advanced skills in MS Applications (Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) especially in MS Power BI.
