DohaAbout the RoleAs Qatar Executive Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics), You will be responsible for the timely performance of all assigned scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with the OCAA Regulations, QR Standards and procedure to the highest standards of practice to ensure safety of flight for all Qatar Executive (OE) and third party aircraft Cabins.
You will also ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance conducted on OE Aircraft and third party is carried out to the highest maintenance standards and safety in the most productive and cost effective manner using all available resources at his disposal.
You must have the ability to perform effectively within the environment of time constraints with a high level of technical competence and professionalism.
ACCOUNTABILITIES : OperationalYou will : -Perform assigned maintenance Avionics tasks in strict accordance with the technical documentation provided.
Plan and carry out assigned Avionic tasks in an effective manner by ensuring all required assistance, materials and tooling are on-
hand to complete the task within the agreed time framePerform inspections / tests of all Avionic systems and installation.
Through effective troubleshooting determine cause of Avionic defects and resolve these defects quicklyClearly communicate with the Lead Engineer status of work performed, any issues arising and provide constructive feedback / recommendations regarding any maintenance difficulties and troubleshooting.
Adjust, align and calibrate all systems using hand tools, gauges, instruments and test equipment.Modify Avionic systems or components in accordance with Engineering Orders, Drawings and / or Technical Publications.
Assists in the departure and arrival of OE and third party aircraftPerforms additional tasks as required and instructed by the Lead Engineer.
About YouQualifications : EssentialRelevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualificationPreferredBasic ICAO Type License.Engineering Diploma in Aviation.
Previous Experience : EssentialMinimum 4 years relevant experienceExperience in Line / Base and VIP Avionic systems Maintenance activities.
In depth knowledge of avionic systems maintenance fundamentals appropriate to the area.PreferredMinimum 5 years as an aircraft mechanic with at least 3 years' experience on modern turbine aircraft with practical experience on corporate aircraft systems preferred.
