About Your Job
In this role you will be providing installation, maintenance and support of the various functions, processes and technologies within the IT Technology Services ensuring quality service is provided to the end users of Qatar Airways and its subsidiary organisations to achieve their business objectives.
You will assist in performing System Administration activities for all IT systems on a regular basis to ensure all IT systems are up to date.
Ensures processes and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to in line with Corporate IT policies.
Assist in the maintenance and support all the relevant Technology areas ensuring quality service is provided to Qatar Airways and its subsidiary organizations to achieve business uptime.
Assist in the Installation and Upgrade of anti-virus products and other IT Security software pro-actively to safeguard the company data from the possible virus threats.
Assist in trouble shooting for all IT Systems in the relevant technology are is carried out as per procedures laid down to ensure quick resolution for IT faults or incidents reported.
Assist on a regular basis the Implementation of all Network, Database, Servers, Storage and End User devices as per timelines provided by the Line Management.
Perform regular updates of the IT Asset Management system to ensure all IT assets are properly reordered issued and updated as and when required.
Support the Structured Cabling (copper and Fiber) deployed across the Qatar Airways network.
Ensure IT process and procedures are followed in line with all established corporate IT policies.
Review company’s IT service portal system and respond to service requests (ITSRs) raised by internal stakeholders.
Assist in coordination with QR Vendors and Information Systems Providers for systems support in order to handle system upgrades, fixes and enhancements whenever required.
Coordinate with Vendors / suppliers for the follow up on IT supplies of hardware, software and end user computer accessories.
Assists in documenting all IT procedures, standards and policies and updates these on a regular basis
Qualifications : Essential
Graduate in Computers / Engineering / Diploma.
Previous Experience :
Minimum 3 years of job-relevant experience required.
Desktops, Laptops, Printers and other end user devices.
Strong working knowledge of Windows and MAC Operating Systems.
ITIL V3 Foundation.
CCNA / MCSE certification
