Provide first line information, advice,guidance and assistance to current and prospectivestudents andvisitors on a variety of issues e.

g. Study plan,careers,scholarship & sponsorship, housing and makingreferrals to other specialistservices as appropriate.

  • Deal with routine personaland telephoneenquiries from students, members of the public andCollege staff.
  • Undertake a range ofadministrativeduties including student information filing (as needed),andphotocopying to support the work of the Student Supportoffice.
  • Maintain suppliesofstationery and information leaflets and ensure that all suchinformation isavailable and up-to-date.
  • Support students incourseregistration and all related issues, such as time conflict, andoverriderequests.
  • Communicating withother academicdepartments in collaboration with the student affairsprogramcoordinator in regard student course offeringproblems.
  • Collaboratingwithcollege academic advisor in regard at risk students.
  • Maintain anup-to-date and relevantinformation library for use by students and staff.
  • Participate actively andflexibly in a rangeof College-wide activities, such as enrolmentand marketing events and staffand student activities.
  • Work closely withstudent affairsprogram coordinator.
  • Liaise with sectionhead of studentaffairs as needed.
  • Ability to liaisewith other studentaffairs departments and sections, attend meetings and reportonstudent progress.
  • Excellentcommunication andcollaboration skills.
  • Goodorganizational andtime managementskills
