Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach is now seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar.Job SummaryThe Marketing Manager is responsible to develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.

The Marketing Manager will ensure the implementation of all new projects strategies, updates, changes in all phases and functions of the marketing divisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMain DutiesMaintains high level of exposure in the hotel through direct sales solicitations, telephone and contacts and written communications.

  • Provides feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing on changing market conditions, trends on the competitions.Presents monthly reports detailing activities undertaken and future plans in line with departmental budgetAssists with the training and development of marketing teamDevelops the marketing strategy plan for the hotelManages of the marketing mixEnsures adherence to quality standards, deadlines and proper procedures, correcting errors and problems;
  • ensure that all team members adhere to the same quality standards.Build relationships with local media across key segments and maintain database of journalists and other influencersDevelops activity schedule incorporating events, press releases and other announcements linked to key hotel events and activitiesOther DutiesResponds to media enquiries and information requestsOrganizes and host incoming media, influencer groups and other individual visits to the hotelManages team members online / offline agenciesEnsures that all the departments throughout the hotel adhere to the Wyndham communication guidelines.

    Identifies, develops and executes appropriate social media strategies for the hotels, in line with WH&R regional and global direction.

    Develops and executes marketing activities for the hotel cluster in accordance with regional brand strategy and direction including but not limited to online, offline and partnership marketing campaigns.

    Ensures efficient participation in Wyndham regional and global promotional opportunitiesIdentifies and delivers targeted, profitable partnerships with local consumer brands that drive guest acquisition, experience and retentionSKILLS & COMPETENCIESPassion for the hospitality industryStrong leadership qualities, including influencing skills and people developmentAbility to manage several projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressureConfidence in developing internal and external relationships, using networking and influencing skills to achieve resultsExpresses an entrepreneurial attitude to business developmentDemonstrates authority and credibility with internal and external relationships, including hotel owners, general managers and corporate leadershipSelf-sufficient and adaptableEducation & ExperienceMinimum of three years of marketing management experience, preferably with both Marketing and PR & Communications expertiseMinimum 3 years of people management experienceExperience in preparation, execution and analysis of hotel marketing plansProven success in marketing and communications campaign deliveryAbility to analyze data using established analytic / reporting tools to measure campaign effectivenessAbility to work cross-functionally with hotel and corporate teams to align and execute against a common goalAbility to manage marketing plans to budget / forecastsPre-opening experience is a plusCOMPANY OVERVIEW : Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the largest hotel franchisor in the world and a leading hotel management company.
