Assistant FMCG Buyer Job Description : Assistant FMCGBuyer Responsibilities;· Assisting the manager with the selection of the right product mixin respect to the FMCGsection.

  • Writing, placing and tracking purchaseorders.· Ensuring products are purchased at the right time, to specificationand at a goodprice.
  • Negotiating with vendors and building positive, long-termrelationships.· Researching new suppliers and making recommendations to thebuyer.
  • Preparing competitive retail and pricingstrategies.· Planning, monitoring and maintaining suitable inventorylevels.· Preparing budgets and forecasting purchasingtrends.
  • Compiling reports on product performance andstatistics. Requirements : · Must obtain a minimum of a Bachelor Degree or anyequivalent.
  • Recommended to have 3+ years’ experience in the relatedfield.· Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiationskills.
  • Strong analytical and organizationalskills.· Ability to multi-task and perform underpressure.· Experience with merchandising software systems is aplus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
