You will join our Human Resource D epartmentAs our new HR Consultant you will be part of HR Department in Ramboll Middle East.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be : Ensure all HR operations is in compliant with governance and national legislation.
employee contracts, supporting visa applications, maintaining the HR system (Workday), on-boarding, off-boarding, employee induction, support the performance and development process, support retention, termination of employment, employee related insurances, employee annual leaves, formal letters, maintain HR records, HR reporting, Adhoc coordination’s etc.
Update training database and document requirements with Line Managers and coordinate and administer all training activityResearch, both within Ramboll and externally, policies and procedures to ensure that Ramboll policies are in line with the market as well as local legislation, develop of HR processesAt all times maintain highest professionalism and maintain confidentiality of HR matters in all circumstancesOperational and technical leadershipRoll out relevant Global and local HR initiativesEnsure the appropriate implementation policies and processes that reflect the required behaviours, mindset and company cultureBe accountable for the local management and deployment of appropriate global HR systemsProvide the right type and level of HR serviceMaximise HR operating efficienciesEnsure compliance with country specific legal and regulatory requirementsAct as an escalation point for people related issuesClient managementIdentify and respond positively to internal client needsEnsure high levels of client satisfactionBe accountable for the delivery of an HR service to defined standardsPeople leadershipTake accountability for the attraction, recruitment, development and retention of employees within the regionAct as role model for collaborative working with all parts of the business including the Global HR functionTake the lead on promoting diversityCommercial managementMonitor and act upon employee engagement measures and targets for the business through ESESMonitor and act upon people related operating costs and cost efficiency measuresYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.
For this role, we believe your starting point is : Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources2-5 years in similar positionExcellent organisational skills, effective time management, including the ability to deal with the incompatible demands in order to meet deadlines, prioritise substantial workload and have a willingness to work flexiblyWorking understanding of the employment laws and processes of the Middle East / GCC (Mainly Qatar)Good analytical skillsMust be able to work on own initiative, with limited management instructionClear English oral and written communication, with attention to detailIntegrity, and an ability to deal with and recognise confidential and sensitive information as well as work in a professional and customer friendly mannerAble to develop positive & productive working relationships with colleaguesTake ownership of own personal / professional development.
