    I Scope & impact of the position on the organization :

    The Services Technician services equipment for Trane Customers in the country. He / She will be responsible for commissioning, repair, maintenance and upgrade of HVAC Integrated Systems, utilizing knowledge of Air Conditioning theory.

    II General - Responsibilities include :

    A - Safety

    Performs all designated activities in a safe manner and is accountable for his / her PPE. Complies with TRANE’s safety standards and rules as laid out in the Instruction Manual and office regulation

    Inspects vehicle condition and literatures supplies. Maintain vehicle by keeping record of services manuals, scheduling and completing repairs / maintenance

    Maintains PPE, tools and personal equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.

    B - Duties

    Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction

    Performs commissioning, repairs, maintenance, upgrade and work related to HVAC services

    Prepares for on-site works by anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, tools, and instructions as necessary

    Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location :

    Uses a variety of hand tools, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, IOMs or engineering specifications as required

    Documents work by timely completing paperwork on each job and maintaining required files (paper or electronic DFSD)

    Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need

    Keeps current on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair

    Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact ; Is able to listen, inform and recommend

    Supports other technicians by providing technical advice and offering guidance

    Participates in Technicians / Services acquisition programs and provide Sales Lead

    Flexibility to work overtime / weekends, as required

    III Profile :

    Diploma & Experience : Technical graduate with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning, one or two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (be specific per country)

    IV Skills :

    Knowledge of HVAC Principles / Equipment : Must be familiar with Trane and various other air conditioning products and have field experience in installation techniques and servicing / repairing HVAC equipment

    Customer Service Skills : Must have excellent customer interaction skills and have the ability to answer questions and resolve customer concerns.

    Computer / Software Skills : Must have the ability to use a computer and software (e.g., MS / Office, Excel, and MS Windows)

    HVAC Technical Skills : Must have demonstrated mechanical and electrical ability

    Strong Analytical Skills : Must have the ability to dissect and manipulate data and situations to arrive at the best possible solution

    Listening Skills : Must have the ability to hear (attend to) and interpret communication.

    Oral Communication Skills : Must be able to speak clearly, use correct grammar, and project enthusiasm through voice inflection and intonation

    Written Communication Skills : Must be able to write clear, concise reports

    Problem-Solving Skills : Must have the ability to resolve situations or matters as they arise

    Interpersonal Skills : Must demonstrate the ability to interact and communicate clearly with a variety of people and personality styles

    Language-Skills : Must have the ability to speak effectively to customers and employees ; English knowledge is an additional asset

    Others : Hold a valid driver’s license

    VI Travel requirements :

    The HVAC Field Technician must be prepared to work under time pressure, with evening and occasional weekend work necessary.

    This position requires work in both field (90%) and office (10%) environments.
