Acting as the main technicaladviser on site for subcontractors, foremen and craftspeople.
Setting out, leveling and surveyingthe site.
Ensuring all materials used and workperformed are as per specifications.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design andspecification.
Liaising with any consultants,sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and thegeneral workforce involved in the project.
Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliancewith local construction regulations.
liaisingwith consultants and their representatives (engineers andsurveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep theminformed of progress.
Day-to-day management ofthe site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor forceand the work of any subcontractors.
Planningthe work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilitiesin order to meet agreed deadlines.
Overseeingquality control, health and safety matters on site.
