IBM Analytics business unit is looking for Technical Sales Specialist professionals to join the team. You will be at the forefront bringing Hybrid Data Management solutions and products to our clients based on a comprehensive product portfolio that delivers trusted data management to the business.
The Hybrid Data Management Technical Sales Specialist will work closely with the IBM Analytics Sales Specialists and the Technical Team to solve all technical related matters for our customers during pre-
sales progression. This exciting position requires that you understand customer's business needs as well as the IBM solutions.

Data Warehouse for Business Intelligence (Db2 Warehouse, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, and IBM Integrated Analytics Systems, ICP for Data and it's respective plug-ins)
Data Lake for Data Exploration (Big Replicate, Db2 Big SQL, Hortonworks Data Platform, Hortonworks DataFlow, and IBM Hosted Analytics with Hortonworks)

Apply industry specific knowledge and experience as well as deep product skill and competitive knowledge to bring new business and technology insights to your assigned clients
This position is for a technical sales specialist who has support sales of complex offerings in a competitive environment.
We are looking for technical sales specialists that have wide experience in hybrid data management, data science, business analytics and data governance, including hands-
on work, yet have the experience to run a complex sales campaign.

Key Technical Skills
Experience with core enabling technologies, databases, networking, Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems and dockers
Experience with Data Platform for Operational Applications solutions, including but not limited to IBM Db2, Oracle, SQL Server etc.
Experience with Data Warehouse for Business Intelligence solutions, including but not limited to IBM Db2 Warehouse, IBM PDA, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc.
Experience with Data Lake for Data Exploration solutions, including but not limited to Cloudera and Hortonworks
Required Technical and Professional Expertise - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Technical Orientation. - Readiness to travel up to 25% of time annually.
English : Fluent. - At least 8 years experience in Hybrid Data Management area and hands-on engineering or field technical sales experience.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience - Masters Degree in Computer Science or Technical Orientation. - Readiness to travel up to 25% of time annually.
English : Fluent. - At least 10 years experience in Hybrid Data Management area and hands-on engineering or field technical sales experience.
