Job Summary
The security supervisor will be reporting to the security Manager and responsible for the safety and security of all guests, team members, visitors and contractors in the hotel.
He / she will maintain the safety and security in the hotel premises and oversees the security team.
Main Duties
Maintains all documents and key systems in the department
Recommends improvements in surveillance, security and fire systems.
Reviews, quickly and thoroughly any incidents with the intention of preventing re-occurrences
With the assistance of the Security Manager, trains and supervises the security team
Organizes the work schedules and ensures that all policies are followed
Conducts regular briefings with the security team
Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries within the hotel.
Assists the HR team in the case of investigation within the team members
Escorts unwelcome visitors in a professional manners.
Constant vigilance of hotel operations and premises
Ensures the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, staffs and hotel premises
Other Duties
Acts as a member of the emergency response team, in case of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance.
Conducts departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
Maintain computer records of all actions in a daily activity report
Assists guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Monitors the arrival and departure of visitors and contractors / suppliers
Controls access and parking within the hotel
Answers of telephone calls to the security desk in a polite and helpful manner.
Manages all lost property handed in and undertaking to return it to its rightful owner whenever possible.
Monitors the CCTV system accordingly

EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION
A minimum of two years in a similar role in a branded hotel
Computer literate
Degree / Diploma in a related discipline preferred
