  • Provide advice and guidance tomanagement as needed during labor relations contract negotiations,including drafting proposals and facilitating meetings with unionrepresentatives
  • Oversee collective bargainingprocedures, including drafting, reviewing and modifying proposals,verifying legal contract terminology and suggesting additionalrules and regulations as necessary
  • Communicateeffectively with managers, executives and union representativesdaily to create positive working environment, address workergrievances and verify compliance with contractualprotocols
  • Analyze current work contracts andhuman resources policies to determine overall state of employeerelations and make innovative changes to improve morale, efficiencyand overall performance
  • Manage laborgrievances as needed by investigating circumstances of incident,validity of claims, adherence to contract policies and completionof resolution procedures
  • Coordinate with HRand other departments to create and sustain positive employeerelations and facilitate effective communications between employeesand management
  • Develop and presentinformational briefings for management to improve understanding oflabor relations and promote improved contract and managementsolutions
  • Assist management during crisissituations, such as labor strikes, to facilitate effectivenegotiations and resolve issues quickly
