In this role, you will be focused on production at manufacturing plants within Qatar with a focus on plant capabilities in mixing and packaging.
The primary objective is to take care of toller chemical manufacturing with continuous improvement in safety, quality and process control.

What You Will Do
Provide an environment in which employees can work safely.
Provide monthly KPI data for tollers in the region.
Proficient to set up and implement a preventive maintenance plan related to experience with former maintenance and repair activities.
Contribute to the technical training in order to increase skills at technical level and working methods.
Contribute (technically) to the improvement and maintenance of work methods and installations in production, related to safety, health, environment and quality aspects.
Manage capital expenditure projects. Improvement projects for safety, productivity & plant capability.
Set up, control and, if necessary, take corrective actions in order to meet the budget.
Provide technical support to the housekeeping of the plant.
Co ordinate all external maintenance services.
Working Knowledge of Quality Control process for chemical blend operations.
Lead employees in the area of responsibility in agreement with superior (individual development, motivation, assessment and feedback).
Knowledge of logistics safety for chemical transportation.
Justify and implement capital projects as determined by manager. Participate in vendor selection and management of vendors.
Support audit activities related to tollers
Apply a proper escalation process on non-conformities and make sure that root causes are identified and resolved
Prioritize SHE behaviors and practices and ensure compliance with Ecolab safety standards
SHE Problems raised, resolved and escalated as appropriate.
Ensure site / Toller operates to regulatory / company safety and environmental standards
Responsible to prepare transfer packages for toller, Evaluate plant capabilities and new product set ups.
Capable to handle, coordinate and resolve any quality issues.
Support and implement Site Manufacturing Excellence Program
Identify savings opportunities and deliver as appropriate.
Support CAPEX / Improvement projects for the plants
Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with strong Chemistry component
1- 2 years working experience in a chemical plant
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular power point and excel
Knowledge of ERP system SAP, iScala
