We are looking for a learning and DevelopmentSpecialist to lead the training, performance, succession,L&D in the company RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Identifytraining and development needs within an organisation through jobanalysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with businessmanagers and human resources departments
  • Design andexpand training and development programmes based on the needs ofthe organisation and the individual
  • Leading the EPM andappraisal Process within the organization
  • Leadingtraining with excellence
  • Work in a team to produceprogrammes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in anorganisation, such as line managers, Retail front line managementand senior management
  • Consider the costs of plannedprogrammes and keep within budgets
  • Plan and assess the'return on investment' of any training ordevelopment programme
  • Develop effective inductionprogrammes for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees throughquestionnaires and discussions with managers
  • Deviseindividual learning plans
  • Produce training materials forin-house courses
  • Create and / or deliver a range ofe-learning packages
  • Manage the delivery of training anddevelopment programmes
  • Ensure that statutory trainingrequirements are met
  • Evaluate training and developmentprogrammes
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, inorder to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Help line managers and trainers solve specific trainingproblems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
  • Keepup to date with developments in training by reading relevantjournals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
  • Research new technologies and methodologies in workplacelearning and present this research. Skills EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS Work Experience :
  • Proven work experienceas a L&D Specialist
  • Comprehensive portfolio oftraining framework
  • Working knowledge of Retail standardsand foundation training requirements.
  • Ability to learnabout products and provide product training to Retailstaff.
