Al Udeid Air BaseThe HAMS Lead is responsible for meeting Contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.
Principal Accountabilities(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.
Responsible for cleanliness in all areas of responsibility.Use cleaning equipment, including automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals and supplies.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, stairways and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms.
Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax and polish floors. Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.Perform special cleaning of induction units, walls, lighting fixtures, and windows, both inside and outside, move furniture and set up meeting rooms.
Provide linen removal, cleaning and exchange.Remove trash from premises and assist in cleaning emergency spills that are observed or as requested.
Maintain assigned equipment and supplies for cleanliness and request repairs when needed.Provide oversight and instruction for Cleaning TechniciansPerform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of cleaning supplies and techniquesSkilled in cleaning rooms, bathrooms, furniture, equipment, sweep, mop, dust and arrange room to set standard.
Ability to perform semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of building and related facilities.Additional knowledge / skills may be required by contract or assignment.
Familiar with applicable Federal, State, local, hospital, and base regulations and policies, (including fire prevention, ground safety, smoking, security, employee health, standard or universal precautions, exposure control plan, facility emergency management plan, utilities plan, personal protective equipment (PPE) (including the respiratory protection plan for the furnishing and fitting HEPA masks as required), and tuberculosis.
Experience & EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience with Hospital Aseptic Management ServicesExperienced supporting a 24 x7 operational environment a plusAdditional experience / education may be required by contract or assignmentPhysical Requirements / Working EnvironmentAble to perform some heavy liftingLiving and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortableLong hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditionsPersonnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditionsTravelAbility to travel domestically and internationallyFacilities / Maintenance / Repair (Full-
