About the role
We are hiring for your skills to optimize Qatar Airways digital merchandizing capabilities with a holistic view along the customer journey.
Plan and implement merchandizing techniques, closely working with other digital business units. Distribute and market Qatar Airways flight and non-flight partner products to add value to the customers experience, convert revenue opportunities and achieve business objectives in line with a clear Commercial vision to achieve a best-in-class customer experience on digital platforms, increase the adoption of the digital channels and optimize revenue generation and customer retention fora sustainable Ion -term growth.
Other operational duties would include :
Manage the implementation of Qatar Airways merchandizing strategy across all digital channels by translating Qatar Airways business and customer experience goals into digital merchandizing strategies and capabilities in order to drive customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
Identify technology and process needs to enable and support the implementation of merchandizing capabilities in Qatar Airways digital channels.
Keep a holistic view on merchandizing trends and new technologies through competitor, market and industry analysis, in order to steer the merchandizing strategy, to identify and introduce new and to constantly advance existing merchandizing capabilities.
Define and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective ancillary merchandising through offering the right products to the customer across different digital distribution and communication channels at the right time in the customer journey from inspiration to day-of-travel.
Ensure flight and non-flight products are distributed and marketed in the most effective way during shopping processes pre, during and post the flight booking through utilizing and implementing best practice technology, techniques and processes.
Influence a customers purchasing decision through implementing sales techniques and design considerations during the shopping process in order to increase conversion and shopping cart value.
Encourage up- and cross-selling through offering appropriate product and fare buy-ups that suit customer needs in order to grow ancillary attach rate and shopping cart value.
Develop the shopping capabilities on QRS digital direct channels to allow product attribute selling and simple comparison shopping for flight and non-flight products supported by attractive rich media content to enable QR to fully display its brand and offer proposition in the digital direct channels.
Monitor the market and understand trends, gaps and opportunities
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Digital Marketing and Acquisition Team.
Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
At least 6 years' experience in the field of digital commerce and digital marketing.
Experience in developing and optimizing digital content.
Prior experience working in a head office of a multi-national company with global responsibilities.
Must have experience in working in more than one geographical region and prior exposure to a multi -cultural work environment.
Extensive experience of working in a results-oriented and fast paced environment. Experience with lean methodologies, including Agile.
Highly analytical, commercially astute and numerate
Good communication skills, a proactive approach and a can do’ attitude
