Job description :
We are in requirement of a Production Manager for our Cables and Wires Manufacturing Company. Ideal Candidate should be well conversant with the process of Cable production and day to day process flow, Keen knowledge of Cable manufacturing process with 10-15 years of Experience in Cable Manufacturing Industry.
The detailed Job Profile as Follows :
Production Planning
Responsible for Production Planning based on the order flow and delivery commitments
Scheduling and execution of all work orders
Material planning
Prepare material requisition with optimum utilization of material
Coordinating material procurement plans and ensuring optimum inventory level
Coordinate with Procurement Dept. to get the right material timely manner.
Production / Manufacturing
Achieve monthly production targets and meet the delivery requirements
Carryout daily meetings and plan for monthly revenue target.
Efficiency monitoring -Ensure set Optimization level vs. potential productivity is achieved
Executing and controlling the production operations in coordination with the other functions.
Coordinating with Maintenance for Implement factory maintenance program covering preventive, shut down & predictive maintenance of all factory equipments and machineries to achieve maximum utilization of production capacities.
Quality Assurance
Ensure quality standards as demanded by client
Strict compliance of QMS
Implementing stringent quality control systems viz ISO to enhance quality of products Preparing periodic quality reports to facilitate future decision making by top management.
Ensuring maintenance of proper documentation for maintaining compliance with ISO requirements.
Cost Control
Achieving productivity improvement with value added operations
Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in Operation, Maintenance Cost
Minimize Rejection
Setting and Ensuring Standard, System & Processes
Improving existing manufacturing processes, adopting better manufacturing processes.
Formulation and implementation of SOP
Ensuring process audits at all manufacturing sections against technical specifications and standards.
Review the present documents relating to production processes, procedures and policies and amend them as necessary
Coordinating for implementation of 5S
Customer Satisfaction
Coordinating with internal & external Customers ensure Timely Deliver of Defined Quality Standards.
Safety Environment
Implement Safety Policies of the company and ensure safety training for all employees to ensure safe working environment.
