  • Manages the performancemanagement cycle, employee relations issues, provides advice andguidance to line managers and senior stakeholders on employeecoaching and mentoring.
  • Maintains consistencyand integrity of job roles within the college through effectivesystems and processes for job analysis, job descriptions &evaluation, organizational structural design and organizationalchange.
  • Provides support and guidance to HCteam, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, andsensitive questions and issues arise.
  • May berequired to administer and execute routine tasks in delicatecircumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations,investigating allegations of wrongdoing, andterminations.
  • Manages talent acquisitionprocess, including recruitment, interviews and hiring, particularlyfor managerial, exempt, and professional roles;
  • collaborates withhiring managers to understand skills and competencies required foropenings.

  • Analyzes trends in compensation andbenefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentivepay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains toptalent.
  • Creates learning and developmentprograms and initiatives that provide internal developmentopportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employeeperformance plans, (PIP), disciplinary issues / meetings,terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintainscompliance with federal, state, and local employment laws andregulations, and recommended best practices; creates and reviewspolicies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatorychanges, and new technologies in human resources, talentmanagement, and employment law.
  • Performs otherrelated duties as directed.
