Job Purpose :
The Senior Technical Officer Electronics will perform preventive and corrective maintenance. He will provide guidance and supervision to the Technicians and support all improvement efforts of the department to increase its performance.
He will ensure proper work handover during shift change and to report any fault on the equipment to the Engineer.
Job Responsibilities :
Ensure his team is performing the assigned job to a standard.
Train the team on their maintenance task.
Ensure the team is knowledgeable of the assets / installations.
Accomplish all assigned PPMs correctly and on time.
Perform corrective tasks and complete them on time.
Deal with subcontractors; scheduling their visit and supervising the work assigned to them.
Prepare required documentations and permits to work.
Make reports on defects, issues, breakdowns and damages.
Follow and prepare the duty roster.
Ensure spare parts requirements, its stock levels and availability.
Follow all instructions given by the Engineers and managers; responsible for special projects assigned by their Line Manager.
Assist in producing documents requested for internal or external audit.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Comply with the Company standards specifically related to personal hygiene, dress code and behavior.
Follow the rules and regulations from the client and from FMM’s HSEQ Management System; attend all HSEQ training sessions and understand all documents / contents of work instructions.
Report any accident, incident, near miss or health event at work to their line manager.
Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering.
Experience & Skills :
10 years’ experience in compatible function and facility.
Valid Qatar Driving License is a MUST.
Regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
Capable of establishing work priorities.
Can work with less supervision and under pressure.
