Primary Objective

You will provide design engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the water design engineering team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Complete civil engineering design computations
  • Development of water distribution system computer models
  • Development of sanitary collection systems computer models
  • Development of stormwater conveyance systems computer models
  • Assist, supervise, schedule and check the work of other team members
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
  • Function as task leader on larger projects
  • Provide input and involved with proposals, work scope, work schedule and budgets
  • Pump station design for water and waste water
  • Water treatment plants, water purification and treatment plants
  • What you will bring

    Technical and Industry Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience is required.
  • Competent in the design of storm water and sewerage collection networks in the ME region.
  • Good experience of pressurized distribution networks design (potable water, fire water, irrigation water) systems.
  • Candidates shall be familiar with InfoWorks ICM design software used by the PWA (Ashghal) during approval process.
  • Competent in drainage software such as SewerCAD, StormCAD, Microdrainage.
  • Competent in the design of wastewater collection networks using suitable supporting design software InfoWorks ICM, SewerCAD, Microdrainage, Spreadsheet.
  • Candidates will be familiar with WaterGEMS, InfoWorks WS and similar design software.
  • Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

  • A full-time Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
