DohaRole and ResponsibilitiesThis role is within the QR - Catering Services department. As a Senior Manager, you will manage all aspects of change management at Catering Services, including the commercial planning.
You will be responsible in complying with internal governance processes for in flight catering contracts and supplier agreements to ensure timely delivery of any changes made.
You will lead the team in decision making and change management. We need your experience and knowledge in contracts to ensure the establishment of short and long term contract objectives are consistent with Catering strategy.
You will be contributing to a significant impact to the company by establishing high level contract strategy and driving implementation of contract opportunities.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and improving contract policy and procedure. You will also be looking into IT enabled process and documentation changes whilst also creating a quick and flexible business guidelines for the Catering Services team.
We need your knowledge and experience in creating business efficiency through development of work processes, systems development, analysis of the current proposition in order to develop and elevate the product, whilst finding cost efficient opportunities.
Job role and responsibilitiesYour team will consists of three different sections within Catering (F&B, Project Management and Galley Planning) and you will be reporting to VP Catering Services.
You will be managing the department and team objectives, to ensure alignment with the broader Catering Services team. You will be responsible in creating a high performance team culture and ensuring a clear succession plan is in place by managing individual team objectives and priorities, providing regular feedback, training and developing employees.
You will be accountable for all aircraft programmes in relation to galley design, develop new strategy to ensure five-star service, manage weight on-
board aircraft, tracking and monitoring of space utilization and allocation. You will also be responsible for the high quality and optimized menu design from Doha and all outstations in line with the expected standards of quality and budget requirementsRequired skillsYou should hold Bachelor Degree with minimum 10 years of experience.
Experience in contract reviews and clauses, ensuring best value is extracted from the supplierExperience of working at a senior level in an operational / semi-
operational environmentNegotiating and managing internal and external stakeholders with regards to contracts, processes and policies.
