What you will do
The Associate Sales Engineer will be directly reporting to the Regional Sales Manager of Applied Equipment. You will be based in Qatar to driving the growth of business for the Applied, specifically focused on Chillers, AHU, and FCU.
Identify new sales opportunities, and enhance relations with Customers, Contracts, Consultants, and Developers to deliver sales targets in order to increase our market share in the Qatar market.
You will work within an energetic atmosphere that provides a platform for you to use your industry knowledge of Applied Equipment and business relations in Qatar to deliver our business objectives for our GCC region.
How you will do it As an Associate Sales Engineer, you will be using your knowledge of the HVAC System to generate business through MEP Contractors, Consultants, and End Users in the assigned territory, and
Focus on growing our Chillers, AHU, FCU business in Qatar by analyzing market opportunities, develop and implement strategies to maximize margins while increasing market share
Articulate market information (market prices, volume, growth, competitors' actions, etc.) and propose a growth action plan for the assigned territory
Exhibit your expertise by promoting the JCI value proposition to contractors and consultants by providing technical solutions to the customer’s business and operational needs as well as demonstrating applicable technical knowledge
You are a hunter driven to seek and develop new business and long-term customer relationships, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of working independently to drive your territory growth
What we look for Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of Sales experience in HVAC Equipment, specifically Chillers, AHU’s and FCU’s within the Qatar market
Proven track record of achieving sales target for HVAC Applied Equipment in Qatar market
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC system
Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate complex business ideas
Strong presentation and ability to influence key Stakeholders, Consultants, and Owners
Independent, innovative, strategic-thinking, and able to work under pressure
Determined, results-driven, strong sales drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
