QualificationsYour RoleAs Sous Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient running of Rocca, the Hotel's Italian Specialty Cuisine restaurant in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
We are seeking someone who enjoys taking the extra mile to ensure the perfection of culinary products. This person enjoys the challenge of creating new dishes, paying extra attention to detail, and maintaining the highest standards of the products quality and consistency.
In addition, we are seeking someone who is highly creative and enjoys interacting with internal and external guests.Reporting to Rocca's Chef de Cuisine, the Sous Chef is responsible for managing their assigned kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction consistent with Grand Hyatt Doha and Hyatt International standards, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
Qualifications : Passion for culinary and specifically Italian cuisine - you have a minimum of 2 years' work experience as Sous Chef or 3-
4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurantEnjoy working with, and leading, a team - you have good interpersonal skills and gain satisfaction from teaching others and enhancing the overall experience within the teamWork clean and efficiently -
you have good knowledge of HACCP and understand the importance of a clean kitchen for hygiene and better efficiencyRecipe costing and computer skillset -
