Hiring "Technical Office Manager" to join on board in reputed holding group.Qualifications : · UPDA (Grade A) and PMP Certification is a Preferred.

  • BSc Degree in Civil / Architectural Engineering from a Recognized University.· Minimum 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering / Construction Management Industry.
  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience in Qatar.· Should be able to join immediately with NOC in hand.· Bilingual Language - Arabic & English.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations of different contracts and its modifications.Duties and responsibilities : Tendering & cost estimate Function : · Prepare the company prequalification documents required for different projects.
  • Study all the tender documents including the General, Specific, Technical, Commercial & Legal terms & conditions.· Prepare technical & commercial proposals & supervise the tender documentation.
  • Complete tender follow-up and negotiations.· Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals with clients.
  • Follow the issuance of the letters of guarantee.· Participate in reviewing different types of contracts.· Build and maintain pricing / estimating databases.
  • Procurement, & cost control functions : · Perform materials submittals.· Contact and coordinate with vendors and suppliers to receive their offers that match project specifications.

  • Negotiate subcontractors to achieve best prices and follow the procurement process.· Prepare the subcontractors contracts.
  • Technical office Functions : · Manage and review the shop drawings.· Prepare & review the subcontractor invoices according to work executed on site.

  • Manage and review quantity surveying for the entire project.· Review client invoices with the consultant.· Manage the quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare material technical datasheet submittal & material inspection request.· Prepare variation orders for client approval.
  • Take part in project and risk management reviews· Attend technical and progress meeting with clients and consultants as required.
  • Perform regular site visits to check on progress and ensure that the project is running on schedule and to budget.· Select, Manage, develop, coach, set training plans to develop their skill and ensure that a high professional standard is achieved.
  • Responsible for exercise due diligence towards health and safety of self & others in the organization.· Responsible to comply with the applicable health & safety procedures, instruction, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.
  • Responsible for reporting to his / her supervisors’ occurrence’s, events and acts that may affect health, safety and company reputation.
