Carry out the servicing of the home appliance to ensure its repair within an acceptable time frame and cost efficiency o Obtain all relevant details from the customer for better preparation resolve the issue by phone as and when possible o Check the unit to identify the root cause of the breakdown or customer s complaint inform the customer for parts to be replaced and cost if out of warranty o Coordinate with the Senior Technician for unresolved and critical complaints o Ensure the correct assessment of the needed parts to minimize delays due to parts returns or incurring additional costs o Repair the unit and give a demo to the customer to show that it is working o Obtain signature of the customer on the job card for documentation collect payment if any and submit to the cashier with the corresponding invoice receipt Ensure service delivery with a focus on quality to prevent repeat service calls o Make sure to install the parts properly to prevent damage to the part or the unit o Be knowledgeable of each unit s service and technical documents learn how the machine works and the engineering behind it o Check the manufacturer s service portal and keep up to date on new ways to repair the different models products Plan the jobs assigned by the Supervisor to ensure all are performed and attended to within the day o Obtain all relevant information from the Supervisor to include in the maintenance schedule for the day o Coordinate with the Supervisor on the scheduling of all service calls and repairs within the day notify Supervisor for any delays based on diagnosis repair o Work with utmost efficiency in repairing the unit to ensure its completion within the shortest time possible Ensure focus on providing excellent service to meet or exceed customer satisfaction and help repeat service requests o Inform customers of the reason for the unit s breakdown and the needed steps to be taken to prevent a recurrence o Respond to any customer inquiries or concerns warmly and professionally handle complaints constructively o Build a positive relationship with all customers be prompt and polite to customers at all times o Wear acceptable work clothes and look clean decent and professional in front of the customer o Clean the unit and the area of repair and remove any waste for disposal Perform troubleshooting repair within the required level of safety in order to minimize or prevent injuries or accidents resulting to damage or loss of customer property or assets o Obey HASC and OEM manufacturer safety and health standards and practices o Ensure proper use of the tools and equipment as per their intended purposes o Follow traffic laws and drive safely and responsibly when going between customers and the base of operations Carry out other tasks and activities which will support the team and company in meeting its targets and objectives o Carry out ad hoc tasks and activities that may be assigned by the management in line with company objectives and targets o Offer to the customer consumables and accessories related to the unit to obtain additional revenue for the company o Handle any issues with other employees in a positive manner
